• Check for wear every 3,000 hours
• Replace vanes once they reach a minimum width of 21mm (3.60 models) or 26mm (2.80 & 3.80 models)
• Make sure the beveled edge rides smoothly against the cylinder wall.
• Vane life depends mostly on temperature and vacuum level. Run the pump in an ambient environment with adequate air flow and a max temp. of 100°F.
• Keep dirt and debris off the pump and motor using compressed air every 2000 hours.
• Starting and stopping more than 3 times per hour will deteriorate vane life.
• Run the pump at the lowest acceptable pressure level.
